If you checked the website recently , you probably noticed the music. Do you know what it is? You probably have heard it before, but you don’t know much about it.
Its a little song called Le Regement de Sambre et Meuse written by Robert Planquette. You know it as Script Ohio.
Also, I have been told the alternate menu (still in testing) doesnt work. This is an issue with Internet Explorer, not my code. Microsoft is known for not having IE meet web standards, and the new menu uses a standard HTML tag that IE doesn’t support. To fix: Get Firefox.
Also, Fall Kinnus was awesome, and pictures should be up soon!

What are you doing next summer? Working, summer school, schmoozing, USY Summer Programs? If that last one sounds good, and it should, then you should read on.
BuckUSY will spend an evening focused on USY Summer Programs. Some of which are USY on Wheels, and Israel Pilgrimage. Arlyne, our regional director, will be there to talk, too. Dinner will be provided.

First off, we have Gallery Hop. BuckUSY’s award winning program of a night with a scavenger hunt, with cameras! Last year, weather shut us out, but we are sure that we’re going this time! (Form required)
Next, We have our monthly Kabbalat and Kibbitz. This month, its OSU style. We’re getting together at the house of Amanda Rosenthal the night before the big OSU vs. Michigan Game.
Lastly, we have our annual paint ball event. We’re heading out to Splatterpark for a day of shooting fun! (You MUST have your forms for this event)

Well, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are over now. I hope you had an easy fast (I didn’t). Anyways, I was hoping Addie, or another exec boarder, would send me something to post for the new year, but no one did.
But, I did pick up a BuckUSY Newsy as I was leaving Yom Kippur Services. I’ll post a link in this post later. Look for updates to this post and the homepage of the website!

Did you notice the header? Its pink on the bottom (instead of gray). Why? Well, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I found a little site called Pink for October that encourages websites to turn pink. While turning the BuckUSY site pink would mean a lot of work (really, editing images is hard.), I decided to make the Blog pink!
It will return to normal at the beginning of November.
Also, we will start having Birthday Posts at the beginning of each month. Look for October’s soon.
